How much does EQL Access OnWeb cost?

Answer

There are two different ways of using OnWeb; a software-as-a-service solution, or an in-house server for local usage, or through serving from your own network

For OnWeb software-as-a-service solution

This option is the paid extension of our free trial. EQL hosts your Microsoft Access database on our servers, and you receive a URL for administration and distribution of the database via a web browser.

You get an unlimited number of total users, and we charge a predictable, flat monthly cost for a fixed maximum number of simultaneous connections to your distribution URL - there are no extra charges.

Cost structure:

  • $30/month for 1 user at a time.
  • $120/month for 5 concurrent users.
  • $200/month for 10 concurrent users.
  • ($20/month for each additional user)

Our system automatically enforces maximum simultaneous connections, so there are no overcharge fees.

Current promotion: The first month is free with an annual subscription.

Extra options:

  1. Additional databases
    If you have a group of users who use a few Access databases without overlap, why not stripe a group of concurrent accounts over these databases? Pricing as above, plus $25/month for each database after the first.

  2. HTTPS support
    Typically used with our user authentication features. Pricing as above, plus $75/month

For OnWeb via an in-house server

In this option, EQL ships a server which you can run within your own network to serve databases either locally or online. We charge a cost for the server and shipping, as well as an optional yearly charge for software updates, hardware assurance, and support.

We ship hardware servers for small business or rackmount formats, and offer significant price reductions for virtual appliances (in VMWare, VirtualBox, and other formats).

Currency note

All prices are listed in United States Dollars (USD), except for residents of Canada, where prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and do not include 5% GST, and for residents of Ontario, prices are in CAD and do not include 5% GST and a further 8% PST.
